“...We are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses...” (Hebrews 12:1).
Barnesville Baptist enjoys a rich legacy of faith inherited from generations past who taught us to love God’s Word, to support missions, and to care for others. We honor our history by preserving our original architecture and exhibiting artifacts in the church library and in displays. The History of BBC article provides decade-by-decade accounts and quotes about BBC from local newspapers, church archives and records, and period publications. The timeline below highlights the major events and personalities over our almost-150-year history.
